About WDLS-EU

The World Diversity Leadership Summit – Europe (WDLS-EU) brings together global Diversity and Inclusion CEOs, policy and decision makers, corporate practitioners, academics, representatives of the media, etc. to share their experiences, research findings, strategies and best practices on global diversity and inclusion.
Founded in 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic, the WDLS has grown to be one of the top annual global diversity conferences in the USA (www.wdlsummit.com). WDLS–EU summit is a high level international summit designed to provide strategic information and trends on business, research, education, media etc., which relate directly to market trends, global competition, sales and marketing. This conference also provides a forum for face-to-face networking between diversity thought leaders, potential strategic partners, prospects and customers.

For the first time in 2010 the World Diversity Leadership Summit took place twice in the same year. WDLS took place a first time on European soil in Vienna in March 2010 and it took place a second time on American soil in Boston, in September 2010.

The first WDLS-EU under the patronage of the Austrian Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister of Finance Mr. Josef Pröll took place in the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance on the 11th of March and at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 12th of March 2010 in Vienna.

The first ever European Diversity Summit brought together:

• 232 participants from Europe, America and Africa.
• 76 High-ranking Diversity thought leaders as speakers
• 96 Participating companies
• 20 participating national and international organisations
• 1.390 persons visited the summit website since March 7th
• 1.921 persons followed the summit online on March 11th 2010
