What is the World Diversity Leadership Summit?
The World Diversity Leadership Summit is a high-ranking international gathering of senior corporate managers, Diversity and Inclusion experts and practitioners, government and non-government organization (NGO) officials, academics etc. focused on the complex challenges and opportunities related to global diversity management.
WDLS-EU is an extension of the US summit and is focusing on the European environment while reaching out to global trends and expertise.
Can I register on-site?
Yes, you can register at anytime on-site at your convenience, once registration is open. Please note you will receive your confirmation within 24 hours of your online registration.
How many people are expected to attend the WDLS-EU?
WDLS-EU 2010 brought together 232 attendees from around the globe. We are confident WDLS-EU 2011 will bring together about 350 participants from Europe and around the globe.
What attire is appropriate for each event?
Business casual attire is the appropriate attire for the conference events.
Program
Can I choose the breakout sessions I would like to attend?
Yes! Once the agenda is announced you are free to select your preferred breakout sessions based on availability. You shall then receive confirmation from us prior to the conference.
Are there any evening events?
Yes! The conference opens with a welcome reception on the first conference day. On the adjourning day there will also be a special adjourning reception.
Registration fee (only for 24th-25th March 2011)

€590 standard registration
€300 for (early bird) NGOs and students with identification cards
WDLS-EU 2011 speakers enjoy special registration rates; please contact us if you are a registered speaker.
This registration fee includes the following:
- Participation at all conference and breakout sessions from 24-25 March 2011
- Conference materials
- Opening and adjourning receptions
- Coffee breaks and meals
- Bus Transfers related to conference Agenda
Does my registration fee include hotel accommodations?
No!
Am I responsible for arranging and paying for my own air travel?
Yes!
Participants are responsible for their own travel and hotel costs. However, we are glad to inform attendees that we have been able to negotiate special rates with selected hotels. These hotels shall be available online 3 months before the conference.
Are meals included in the registration package?
Yes! Breakfast and lunch are served each day of the conference. Evening receptions are also included in the registration package.
Can registered participants attend all the sessions and events?
Registered participants have open access to all activities listed in the conference agenda.
Can I purchase single tickets for individual events?
Single tickets are not available. Only full conference packages can be purchased.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancellations received 15 working days before the conference will NOT be subject to a cancellation fee. However all cancellations received 14 – 6 working days before the conference shall be subjected to €50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations 5 working days before the conference.
All cancellations and name substitutions must be submitted in writing via email to
diversitysummit@wdls.eu latest 5 working days before the conference.
If I have already registered but cannot attend, can I send someone else in my place?
WDLS-EU will accept a name change if the request is received in writing via email to
diversitysummit@wdls.eu no later than 5 working days before the conference. The original registrant must submit all name change requests.

Location/Hotel/Travel
Where is the conference being held?
The World Diversity Leadership Summit Europe is being held in Vienna at the following venue:
Austrian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rudolf Sallingerplatz 1, A-1030 Vienna
Is there a Shuttle Service from the airport to the hotel?
There are various shuttle services that leave from the Vienna International Airport to the hotel. Registrants are encouraged to reserve this service at their own discretion. However an information package to this effect shall be available on our website 2 months before the conference.
Is there a walk-up Limo Service?
Registrants can reserve this service at their own discretion.
What time is hotel check-in/check-out?
You may process your check-in time anytime upon your arrival. Your room will be ready at 3:00 p.m. The bell desk can assist with luggage handling and storage. Check-out time is 12:00 a.m.
Are gratuities (i.e. tips) included or is this my responsibility?
WDLS-EU is covering the gratuities for Reception staff only during the conference. Tips for hotel service such as bell stand, valet, housekeeping, etc. is at your discretion and your expense.
