Mission Statement
WDLS-EU 2010 is a European and Global forum of Diversity Thought Leaders which:
- Brings together 200 policy-makers, EU officials, representatives of the civil society and philanthropic organizations, global diversity thought leaders and CEOs and other stakeholders to discuss and exchange information and best practices on burning issues relating to diversity and inclusion in the market and workplace, new opportunities in Media and social networks, Diversity and Return on Investment (ROI), currently challenges on education, research and their comparative advantages in a global and European contexts
- Discusses challenges, share best practices, develop best solutions and networks in times of financial crisis, and increasing technology in global virtual networks
- Raises awareness on the importance of diversity and inclusion in regional and global policy and decision making, and sheds light on hidden the power of diversity, its challenges, comparative advantages and good practices from different perspectives.
- Establishes a European and global diversity collaboration network of policy and decision-makers, diversity thought leaders, COEs, and practitioners
- Explores cutting-edge global diversity in research, academics media and establishes global diversity management as a core academic vocation
- Focuses amongst all on the importance of intercultural and interpersonal relationships, their competences and comparative advantages
- Equips individuals with information and tools to participate in an effective and constructive way in social and work life-balance, based on knowledge of social and political concepts and structures and a commitment to active and inclusive participation.
