Claudia Blaas

WDLS-EU Assistant

Claudia Blaas is currently the Assistant of the World Diversity Leadership Summit Europe.
In Vienna, Austria, one of Europe’s most open and multicultural metropolises, Ms. Blaas has worked with various associations dealing with immigration, integration, refugees, asylum seekers, intercultural issues and exchange and has recently been focusing particularly on diversity, inclusion and identity issues.
In addition, Ms Blaas is a consecutive and simultaneous Conference Interpreter holding a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting from the Advanced School for Translators and Interpreters of the University of Trieste, Italy. Coming from a mixed cultural background and having lived in South Africa for 15 years, Ms Blaas is trilingual in English, German and Italian. She has furthermore undertaken Afrikaans, French, Spanish and Slovak language training. Claudia has always had a strong passion for languages, cultural multiplicity, dancing and unconventional travel.
