Ernst Michalek was born 1971 in Vienna and grew up in lower Austria. Because he was fascinated by engineering and technology very early, he completed his education as mechanical engineer at the TGM Vienna in 1991 and worked for several different companies in Austria.
In the mid 90ies Ernst started grasping the opportunities of the “young” internet and has been intrigued by it since then. Since 1998 Ernst Michalek has successfully carried out 150 internet projects, such as websites, online shops and browser applications. Following the family tradition (Ernst´s father was a teacher in the Czech Republic) in 2003 Ernst started to work as an apprentice trainer at the Vienna WIFI, where youths from more than 20 nations are trained within projects of the employment agency Vienna.
