Why do diversity and inclusion programs often fail to produce sustainable results? Just as each of us has
a concealed mind, organizations are also dominated by concealed messages, values, and behaviours.
Concealed beliefs and cultural norms govern many of the most important decisions we make as both organizations
and individuals. These invisible thoughts and judgments regularly impact every aspect of organizational
life, especially hiring, performance management, succession planning and strategic decisions in
organizations.
Takeaways from this Keynote will include a deep a deep examination of how unconscious bias develops &
how it impacts people, groups and diversity efforts. Attendees will be confronted with opportunities on how
to begin a journey of self-awareness and understanding of their comfort or discomfort with other groups
and individuals.
