Claire Schocher-Döring

Austrian Youth Red Cross, International Projects Manager

Claire Schocher-Döring is the Austrian Youth Red Cross manager for an EU funded project on Migration and the Millennium Development Goals. The project aims to contribute to promoting positive attitudes among young people towards migrants. Ms. Schocher-Döring has been employed by the AYRC since 2001 and she has held many positions throughout the years. From 2002-2006 she was Head of Unit for the AYRC Youth Service, which supports Red Cross Youth leaders and volunteers in their humanitarian activities. She has been involved in the European-wide work of the Red Cross Youth for many years and through this engagement she has a good overview on good practice on diversity activities in Europe. Since 2008 Ms. Schocher-Döring is a member of the Austrian Red Cross Governing Board.
