Mercer ORC Networks
Elizabeth MacGillivray is the Leader of the Global Diversity Forum and co-chairs the US-based Workforce Opportunity Network, peer networks for senior corporate diversity leaders in Mercer’s ORC Networks. She also supports the consulting work in Mercer’s Global Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Practice.
For over 12 years, Ms. MacGillivray has been advising organizations on global and domestic diversity strategies, tracking legal and regulatory developments that impact diversity and equality efforts worldwide, and conducting benchmarking for client organizations across a range of industry. She links ORC Networks with leading subject matter experts, civil rights and nongovernmental organizations, academics, government officials and regulatory bodies. She speaks and writes frequently about domestic and global diversity strategies and practices, and provides regular updates on global diversity developments to private and public sector employer groups in the U.S. and Europe. She has written a chapter on global diversity for ThomsonWest’s International HR Guide, and contributes a bi-monthly column to The Journal of Organizational Excellence. She is a member of the SHRM Diversity Standards Task Force, which is developing the first standards for the diversity and inclusion field.
An attorney practicing employment law prior to joining ORC Networks, Ms. MacGillivray was an associate at the law firm of Jackson Lewis in Boston, and a legal editor for RIA Group and Warren, Gorham & Lamont. She holds a B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law, and she is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
