Mark Levy is project manager for Inclusion & Diversity in Education (INDIE) and Connecting Classrooms (Europe), two British Council led projects working with schools across Europe which focus on the integration of children from minority backgrounds and the values of global citizenship and give a central voice to the young people themselves. He also heads the British Council's training and development work with Spanish teachers of English and has given presentations, talks and led workshops with teachers all over Spain. He was born and raised in London and moved to Madrid in 1985 after graduating from Manchester University in Politics & Modern History. Away from work he has recently bought a new record player and is rediscovering the pleasures of vinyl. He is also apparently a 24 hour bank & taxi service for his two children!
