As Vice President for Corporate Affairs, Angela Heng has responsibility for regional com- munications and government relations across 160 countries and territories in Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific (EMEA-APAC). She is also a member of the EMEA- APAC and Corporate Affairs Executive Teams, and reports to the Executive Vice Presi-
dent for Corporate Affairs based in Denver, USA. Her career has taken her throughout Asia and to Europe. A former management consultant focusing on leadership, team building and conflict resolution, Angela joined world-leading public relations agency Burson Marsteller and consulted for Fortune 500 companies including Philip Morris, AT&T and Citi- bank in Singapore and Hong Kong. As Director for Client Services, she oversaw all client business and managed the Hong Kong office. After leaving to work with 3Com as Regional Director for Communications where she played a key role in the corporate restructuring, and led the Asia Pacific roll out of the world’s largest survey of the human race, Angela moved to the United Kingdom where she developed the communication strategy to launch the world’s first real time interactive video for mobile phones for Mobile Media, a Scandi- navian start-up. In 2003, Angela relocated back to Hong Kong to head up global communications
for wholesale telecommunications carrier REACH. Angela holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Strategic Management from the University of Oregon, USA and is married.
