Director, Global Equality Diversity and Inclusion Practice

Deirdre Golden is Director of the Global Equality Diversity and Inclusion Practice based in the London office of ORC Worldwide. She works with organisations in the private and the public sector in Europe addressing the equality and diversity agenda in employment and in the global environment, through confidential employer networks and through bes- poke consulting support and solutions.
Deirdre has comprehensive HR management from an operational and strategic perspective, as well as from an external community-based perspective; she was previously a Board Director of the West Euston Partnership, a government funded, public and private sector regeneration partnership in the London Borough of Camden, where she worked with a wide range of stakeholders in developing the strategy for the partnership. Deirdre has specialist knowledge in employee relations, including union negotiations; employment policy; equality and diversity; and HR strategy, in the financial services sector, IT, and in the public sector. She is a member of the UK National Working Group on the European Commission’s ‘For Diversity Against Discrimination campaign’; Deirdre has a Masters Degree LLM (Employment Law), University of Middlesex; BA (Honours) in Economic and Political Sociology, University of East Anglia; and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.
