Executive Secretary of Termnet

Gabriele Sauberer is a Certified quality auditor, EN 15038 lead auditor and expert in several standardization committees (Terminology, Translation, Human Resources, Diversity management, Corporate Social Responsibility). Gabriele holds a PhD in Russian Linguistics and finished an interdisciplinary bundle of studies. She is teaching diversity management, intercultural management and project management at the Centre for Translation Studies
of the University of Vienna. In 2007, she initiated the 1st International Diversity Summer School and the first standard on diver- sity management, which was published in January 2008 (ÖNORM S 2501). Gabriele is the Executive Secretary of Termnet, the International Network for Terminology (www.termnet.org) since 2002. For the European Commission she acted as consultant to European funding Programmes. Gabriele designed and managed many projects at European, regional and international level and developed trainings on linguistic and cultural diversity.
