Nigerian-born travel journalist and photographer Lola Akinmade has dispatched from more than 30 countries and her work has appeared in various major publications such as the National Geographic Traveller, Travel Channel’s World Hum, British Vogue, and many more.
She also worked as a field journalist during Eco-Challenge’s Expedition Race in Fiji and currently volunteers as a photojournalist with both World Hope International and C.H.I.E.F – an NGO
based in Nigeria that promotes grassroots health development, HIV/AIDS awareness, and the empo- werment of women. She is also an editor at the Matador Network– the world’s largest interactive travel magazine.
